Crab Cakes That Can Be Made on the Grill or Stove Top!

I have a sweet, and very persistent, subscriber on Youtube that has been asking me to make crab cakes for a while now. Since she has been very patient with me (well, kind of, LOL!). I decided to throw some crab cakes on the grill and record them. YES –  I grilled them!! Believe it or not, it was quite easy to do (watch the video below), and it wasn’t time consuming at all.

Two grilled crab cakes served on a white plate and garnished with bay leaves.

These crab cakes can be done on the grill (with a cast iron griddle) or on the stove top. I used canned crab meat because it was easy to find, but you can use fresh crab meat.

I followed your crab cake recipe, and added canned salmon – OMG girlfriend!! They were to absolutely die for! The secret seems to be in the bread cubes vice crumbs. They stayed together & I cooked them on the stove. Thanks!! – Laura

From: @Jonnyonthespotcakes (IG) Hey, Rosie! I will have to try this recipes. In the past I have tried to make crab cakes and they always fall apart. I think this is because I always deep fry them. So note to self, lightly oil the pan. Thanks for this!
