Chicken and Sausage Gumbo is awesome!!! This is my Gumbo when my cash flow is low and i cannot afford the shrimp and crab for the Seafood Gumbo.

My husband and son really enjoyed it. I added the sausage for them since I don’t like sausage. I ate around it and it was just as tasty. A question: the gumbo really reduced in the pot so much so that I had to add almost a whole container of broth. Did you keep the lid on for that first 45 minutes of cooking? I watched your video and I couldn’t tell. Would keeping the lid on keep it from reducing?

All I can say is, I don’t know why I’m just now finding you, but I’m definitely glad that I did. I’m not the best cook in the world, but honey you make me seem like a 5 star chef with your easy to follow recipes. This (your channels) has been the best thing that happened to me.
