Hey cousins! I’ve been noticing that a lot of you have been enjoying my dessert recipes (especially the cheesecakes!), so I’m back with another banger. In this post, I’m sharing this unique dessert that you must try ASAP. Y’all, I’m talking about this amazing Peach Pretzel Jello Dessert. A friend of mine made this dessert for me a few years back, and I absolutely fell in love. I just had to have the recipe, and thank goodness that she shared it with me. I’ve been making this ever since! Whenever there is a cookout, you can count on me to make this Peach Pretzel Jello. I kid you not, once you try it, you’re going to love it just as much as I do. So give this recipe a try, and serve this dessert at your next get-together!

Ingredients needed for this Pretzel Peach Jello Dessert:

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks, crushed
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 oz Peach Jello mix
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3 large fresh peaches, sliced

Pro-Tips for Making Peach Pretzel Jello

Can I make this Jello dessert with another fruit instead of peaches?

If you’re not a fan of peaches, you can certainly substitute the peaches with a different fruit. Some of the fruits that you can use to substitute peaches are apples, strawberries, blueberries, or even cherries. Keep in mind that if you change the fruit, you most likely will need to change the gelatin as well to match the fruit (unless it’s apple because it actually pairs with peach gelatin). If you decide to use a different fruit, use the same amount that is called for the recipe. For example, Instead of 3 large peaches, use ¾ cup of strawberries. Instead of 3 large peaches, use 3 large apples.

Can I use generic gelatin instead of Jello?

Yes, you sure can! Instead of using the actual Jello brand, you can use a generic store brand. Just be sure to follow the directions on the back of the box because they might be a tad bit different from Jello. Also, some generic gelatin brands take a tad bit longer to solidify, so you may need to let this dessert sit a tad bit longer than stated in the directions.

What equipment do I need to make this Peach Pretzel Jello recipe?

Since this is a baking recipe, you know that there will be a lot of mixing, stirring, folding, and more. Here are a few things that you should have on hand to make this recipe a breeze to prepare.

  • Mixing bowls
  • Handheld mixer or whisk
  • Spatula
